コレクション: Distant Drums Art Show
Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery is proud to present Distant Drums, a curated exhibition of rare original Haitian paintings and museum-quality Haitian masterworks drawn from a distinguished private collection assembled by the Mastandrea family over more than fifty years of connection to Haiti. Inspired by the vibrant colors, spiritual symbolism, and expressive storytelling of Haitian art, artist and designer Peter Mastandrea built an exceptional collection reflecting the depth, narrative richness, and cultural spirit of Haiti’s artistic traditions. The exhibition features important works by celebrated Haitian masters including Jacques-Enguerrand Gourgue, Gervais Emmanuel Ducasse, Claude Dambreville, Bourmond Byron, Paul Beauvoir, Nathan Toussaint, Simeon Michel, Casimir Laurent, Roger Francois, and Rony Leonidas. Rich in folklore, ceremony, spirituality, and daily life, these collector-quality Haitian artworks embody the bold color, rhythmic composition, and emotional authenticity that define Haiti’s most recognized painters. Each work presents a rare opportunity to acquire authentic Haitian art from a long-held private collection. All paintings are original works available for sale through Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery in New York.
