Wilfrid Louis (b. 1943, Port-au-Prince, Haiti) is a Haitian painter known for his Impressionist style and refined depictions of Haitian life. He studied at Lycée Toussaint Louverture and later at the Académie des Beaux-Arts, where he developed his artistic foundation. In 1962, Louis began painting in an Impressionist manner under the guidance of Marco Amblugo and Montagutelli, refining a style characterized by light, color, and atmosphere. His work contributes to the evolution of Impressionism within Haitian art and is appreciated by collectors for its balance of technique and visual harmony
